The museum generally does not offer reduced-price tickets for standard admission. All regular tickets cover both permanent collections and temporary exhibitions. However, certain individuals qualify for free entry (please check the “See free admission conditions” for details). Discounts might be available for specific activities like workshops, guided tours, and events in the auditorium (refer to the “See list of visitors entitled to reduced ticket rates”).
To guarantee entry on your preferred day and minimize waiting, it’s recommended to buy your tickets online in advance. Holders of “Carte Louvre” (including Amis du Louvre, CLEF and CLEF+, Louvre Young Patrons Circle, Louvre Patrons Circle, International Council of the Louvre, Louvre Decorative Arts Circle, Friends of Delacroix, American Friends of the Louvre) have priority access through the Richelieu entrance. Groups with pre-booked time slots also benefit from priority access via the Richelieu entrance.
Tickets for museum admission and related services are considered leisure service sales and are non-refundable and non-exchangeable. They are valid only for the specific date and time chosen at the time of booking and cannot be altered. Once a booking is confirmed, changes to the date or time are not permitted. However, if the Louvre cancels or modifies the service you booked, you will be eligible for a refund as outlined in the museum’s Terms and Conditions.
Yes, your ticket includes entry to all Louvre collections as well as the Musée National Eugène-Delacroix (either on the same day as your Louvre visit or the next day it is open). Please note: For exhibitions held in the Hall Napoléon, you must book a specific time slot.
